Abstract Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a serious and irreversible chronic lung disease. Bleomycin (BLM) an anticancer drug, which can cause severe toxicity. The main target of oxidative stress-induced injury alveolar epithelial cells, lead to interstitial fibrosis. present study investigated whether hispidin (HP), has excellent antioxidant activity, attenuates bleomycin-induced via anti-oxidative effects in A549 cells.
